What is Bead Beast Bistro?

A monster diner with a real Level 2 learning path.

Each customer orders a silly dish that is really an abacus task: make a three-digit number, read the pot, mix a three-bowl recipe, or catch a number whisper. Solve the order and the monster gobbles it up with a happy wiggle.

Numbers that mean something

247 is not just a numeral—it is 247 noodles in the pot, made from 2 hundreds, 4 tens, and 7 ones. The three-rod soroban becomes three mixing bowls.

Delight, not worksheets

Springy beads, silly sound effects, goofy monster reviews, and a very satisfying burp button keep children coming back to the same Level 2 skills.

Level 2 coverage

What children practise in the bistro.

Level names differ between abacus programs, so Bead Beast Bistro describes its arithmetic precisely instead of promising certification or affiliation.

How it plays

Every correct answer feeds a monster.

Four orders complete a customer's shift. Each monster has a silly review to earn and the next one only unlocks after the current monster is fed.

🫳

Springy beads

Move big, bouncy beads that plink and boing as you count to the answer.

💬

Goofy customers

Gronk, Chompzilla, Slurps and friends react to every answer with silly sound effects.

🤭

A real burp button

Finish a shift to unlock each monster's celebration—including a press-for-a-burp button.

Is Bead Beast Bistro right for my child?

It is designed for children who have finished Level 1 friend formulas and are ready for three-digit numbers and three-row totals—the core of the official Level 2 (Movers) scope.
